International Journal of Pharmacy and Medicine Sciences is an international refereedjournal published monthly, which publishes innovative research papers, reviews, mini-reviews, and short communications related to Pharmaceutical, Medical Sciences and Life Sciences.

All manuscripts are subject to rapid peer-review process. High quality manuscripts (previously unpublished and not under consideration for publication in another journal) will be published without any delay.International International Journal of Pharmacy and Medicine Sciences publishes the following manuscripttypes:

Manuscript Format

The preferred format of all manuscript is MS Word. Tables and illustrations (flow charts, figures) must be inserted in the manuscript at the position they should appear when published.

Preparation of Manuscript

Paper must be is English. Each manuscript should be typed single-spaced on A4 (8.5″ × 11″) paper size with 2.54cm margins on each side. It should be arranged in the following order: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Conflict of interest and Acknowledgements (if any) and References.

Title Page

Title page should contain title of the paper in title case (font size 16), names of the authors in normal face, upper case (font size 11) followed by the institutional address in normal face lower case. The corresponding author should be denoted by an asterisk mark. The title should be as concise as possible. Names of the authors should appear as initials followed by surnames. At the bottom left corner of the title page, please mention corresponding author and provide a functional e-mail address.

Abstract
It should start on a new page after the title page and should be typed in single-space to distinguish it from the Introduction. Abstracts must briefly reflect all aspects of the study as summary. The manuscript should have an abstract of maximum 350 words.

Keywords
Provide 5-6 appropriate keywords followed by abstract.

Original research

Introduction
A concise introduction of the research problem followed by a brief review of literature and objective of the research.

Materials and Methods

Enlist the materials used in the experiment, year of experimentation, site etc. Describe the methods utilized for evaluation/synthesis/formulation/collection of data in short.

Results and Discussion

This segment should focus on the fulfilment of stated objectives as given in the introduction. It should contain the observation findings presented in the form of tables, figures,and photographs with statistical analysis.

References
Should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text (not in alphabetic order). Identify references in text, tables, and captions by Arabic numerals in brackets. References cited only in tables or figure legends should be numbered in accordance with the sequence established by the first identification in the text of the table or figure.

Illustrations and Figures

Figures should be numbered independently of tables, photographs and cited as the relevant point in the manuscript text, e.g. “Fig. 1”, “Fig. 2”, etc. All figures including photographs should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals in the order of their appearance in the text and bear a brief title in lower case bold face letters below the figure. If any figure directly extracted from previously published materials, you must have written permission from the publisher of that figure for reprint use. A copy of that permission release must be submitted with your article.

Short Communication

The journal publishes exciting findings, brief studies that did not yield enough information to make a full paper as short communications. These have the same format requirements as full papers but are less in no. of pages. Short Communications may not have subtitles i.e., Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion; all these must be merged into the running text.

Review Article

It should contain updated information, comprehensively cover relevant literature and preferably be written by scientists who have in-depth knowledge on the concerning topic. All format requirements are same as those applicable to full papers.

All manuscripts (must be in English and in MS Word format) and should be submitted via our online system or through e-mail at editor@ijpms.com or ijpms.chiefeditor@gmail.com an attachment for quick review.

Copyright and Permission

Submission declared that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not considered for publication elsewhere. Authors mustrequire to sign a copyright form, transferring copyright once the manuscript is accepted for publication.

Galley Proofs

Galley proofs of the processed articles are sent to the address given by the corresponding author. It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to ensure that the galley proofs are correct and returned without delay.

Chemical Terminology

The chemical nomenclature used in the manuscript must be in accordance with that used in the Chemical Abstracts.

Biological Nomenclature

Scientific names of plants, animals and microorganisms must be in italics.

Enzyme Nomenclature

The trivial names recommended by the IUPAC-IUB Commission should be used throughout the manuscript. When the enzyme is the main subject of a paper, its code number and systematic name should be stated in its first citation in the manuscript.

Symbols and Abbreviations

Use only standard abbreviations in the manuscript. Avoid abbreviations in the title. The full term for which an abbreviation stands should precede its first use in the text unless it is a standard unit of measurement.

Ethical matter

Authors involving experimental animals and human volunteers/patients in their research work should seek approval from the appropriate Institutional Animal Ethics Committee or Institutional Human Ethics Committee. The material and methods section of the manuscript should include a statement to prove that the investigation was approved and reference no. was obtained.

Conflicts of Interest

All authors of manuscript must disclose all conflicts of interest they may have with publication of the manuscript that is mentioned in the manuscript.

Publication charges
